Gleich nach “Sag’s nicht weiter, Liebling”, genau gesagt am Sonntag, hab ich mit dem hier angefangen:

Jetzt liegt nur noch “Charleston Girl” hier von Sophie Kinsella, dann habe ich alle ihre Bücher durch

Wieder typisch Sophie Kinsella! Frau fängt an zu lesen, und kann nicht mehr aufhören, bis das Buch zu Ende ist Jedenfalls geht’s mir so! Das nächste Buch ist deswegen auch schon fast durch *grins*

Hatte ich erwähnt, dass ich diese 3 Bücher innerhalb von 2 Wochen gelesen habe? Der letzte Teil der Rebecca-Bloomwood-Reihe war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk meiner Schwester und kommt als nächstes dran!

Did I say that I read these three book within two weeks?   The last part of the Rebecca-Bloomwood-series was a birthday present from my sister and will be read next!

After a long, long summer holiday, a stressful start of the new school year, I’m back!

But this doesn’t mean that I haven’t done anything at all during the past weeks and months Summer was great, this year we had no reason to complain about it! No rain for weeks, no unsupportable heat for more than a few days, it was nearly perfect!

As my life is coming back to normal  again,  I’ll try to write here more regularly – let’s see how long it works, haha.

The dogs are doing fine, though we have to keep them separated for a while, as our Malamute is in her second heat right now but our male Aussie isn’t castrated yet because he’s still too young.  And we don’t wanna have 8 or 10 little puppies running around here, so this is the only way to avoid this

My 6-year-old son:

“Mum, if everyone comes out of his mum’s tummy, out of who’s tummy did the very first mum come??”

ommm… ok, let’s start with the theory of evolution *lol*

Mein 6jähriger:

“Mama, wenn jeder aus dem Bauch seiner Mama kommt, woher kam dann die allererste Mama??”

(Ich bin froh, dass er in den Ethikunterricht kommt, und nicht in den Reli-unterricht!!)

I must be crazy…

This time, it was ME who wanted to adopt another dog, not my husband! But it was love at first sight (for me, AND for our Mal,)! Alesha urgently needs a fellow friend to play with – I hope my plan works!  If  it does (and I’m pretty sure that it does, coz’ we had Alesha with us when we met the puppy – she couldn’t keep her paws off it),  this cute boy will complete our family in a fortnight:

Ich muss verrückt sein…

Diesmal war ICH es, die einen Hund haben wollte! Aber es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick, nicht nur bei mir, sondern auch bei Alesha!  Und die braucht sowieso ganz dringend einen Artgenossen zum Spielen! Wenn mein Plan klappt (und da bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, Alesha hat den Kleinen bereits kennengelernt und konnte ihre Pfoten nicht mehr von ihm lassen), wird der Bursche auf dem Bild da oben in 2 Wochen unsere Familie vervollständigen

Ansonsten nix Neues hier… Ausser, dass mein Sommerpulli fertig ist und das Wetter ja endlich soweit abgekühlt hat dass ich ihn anziehen kann Fotos folgen!

My  day has only 24 hours (sometimes I really wonder whether some people have 48 hours a day??), I need those for my sleep, household (cooking, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, ironing, etc. ) and my hobbies, meaning reading, knitting, and writing letters.

When I’m  knitting or reading, I don’t have time to blog and the other way round. So… This blog will stay rather empty for a while as I’m working on my merino pullover, I’ve started sewing (or at least, learning it…), and my penpal is waiting for my an answer.

And of course, the laundry is ironing itself, moving to the wardrobes by its own, same for the dishes – haha… at least that’s what my husband seems to think…).

I’m just gonna post an update once a month with all my knitted things and read books,  just for my own review. Maybe one or two other posts, but not more.

Lucky those who manage to handle their household, kids, AND still have enough time to post an accurate statement of every single mesh they’ve knitted -  I don’t!  My real life is more important than some virtual lines

Fürs Bloggen. Mein Tag hat auch nur 24 Stunden (ich frage mich manchmal, ob die Tage einiger anderer Leute 48 Stunden haben??), die ich für meinen Schlaf, den 5-Personen-Haushalt (Kochen, Putzen, Waschen, Bügeln) und meine Hobbies brauche. 

Wenn ich blogge, kann ich nicht gleichzeitig stricken oder lesen und andersrum. Also wird mein Blog in der nächsten Zeit eher brachliegen, da ich an meinem Merino-Pullover arbeite und ein paar Bücher hier liegen habe, die gelesen werden wollen. Ausserdem wartet meine Brieffreundin auf meine Antwort

Und der Haushalt erledigt sich ja von alleine – so jedenfalls scheint mein Mann zu denken…

Ich werde nur noch einmal im Monat eine Zusammenfassung posten mit den Sachen die ich gestrickt, und den Büchern die ich gelesen habe, mehr nicht. 

Glücklich sind die, die Haushalt und Kinder unter einen Hut bringen, und dann noch immer genügend Zeit haben zum Stricken und dann noch täglich einen Bericht bloggen, wo sie  minutiös jede einzelne Masche, die sie an dem Tag gestrickt haben, aufzählen. Ich hab die Zeit nicht, ausserdem ist mir mein reales Leben wichtiger als ein paar virtuelle Zeilen

“Mom, why don’t we buy two boxes of eggs, so we can put one box into the oven and then we’ll have little chicken?”

 Gerade eben:

Mein 6-jähriger: “Mama, warum kaufen wir nicht zwei Kartons mit Eiern, dann stellen wir einen Karton in den Backofen und dann haben wir bald lauter kleine Küken”
